On 21st, July, Taiwan External Trade Development Council and Shanghai World Expo Bureau signed up for Taiwan Hall was a part of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai. On the signing ceremony, the public got first look at the appearance of Taiwan Hall.
The Foreign Trade Association pointed out the internal mechanism of ceiling-light is a big LED sphere which inside show the strong element of Taiwan natural and cultural, and the bright outside will be a function as windows displaying the different scenes. The shining ceiling-light represent the Taiwanese¡¯s fervor will make some contribution for the World Expo 2010 Shanghai. The theme of Taiwan Hall is ¡°nature, spirit, city¡±, to give the construction appearance to, as by the light of heaven sculpt and landscape, which is designed by the designing team of Architect Li Zhuyuan.
Taiwan Pavilion is a part of Asian Country Hall, which is close to the Expo hubs and entrance of station that a major route in the confluence of the multitude. World Expo 2010 Shanghai is the largest world exposition in the 150 years before. Up to 10th July, 240 countries and international organizations confirm to join the exposition. The date of exposition is from 1st , May to 31st Oct. We estimate the 184 days exposition will attract more than 70 million visitors at home or from overseas.
